American Frontline Nurses offers programs that aim to improve health outcomes for vulnerable patient populations by providing them with education and resources. These programs serve a wide range of patients, ensuring that they have access to the care and support they need to achieve better health.

Grandma's Healing Touch

The Smile Makers

Program

Smile Makers accepts art and sensory supply donations from our Amazon Charity list. Volunteers then package and redistribute those donations to sick kids across the country. Sick kids are able to express themselves creatively, engage in sensory play and have fun despite the challenges facing them.

Sexual and Reproductive Health Teachings for Sex Workers

This program aims to promote reproductive and sexual health practices among sex workers by providing education on preventing STIs and pregnancy, routine monitoring and testing for disease prevention, and safe sexual practices. The goal is to maintain the health and well-being of sex workers and prevent the spread of illnesses.

for Patients and Families

"Demystifying Hospice" is a comprehensive program designed to provide clear and accessible information about hospice care. Through educational resources and interactive sessions, "Demystifying Hospice" seeks to empower participants with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions, fostering a more compassionate and supportive approach to the end-of-life journey.

Mental Health Support for Turkey Disaster Relief Responders

This program provides mental health awareness and support for first responders and disaster relief workers who are assisting in the aftermath of the 2023 earthquake in Turkey. The support is offered through Zoom meetings and live chat support forums, with the goal of providing a safe space for individuals to discuss their experiences, emotions, and concerns related to their work. The program aims to improve mental health and reduce the risk of burnout among these workers.

Monkeypox Educational Series for LGBTQ+ and Sex Workers

This educational series was created in response to the 2022 monkeypox outbreak among LGBTQ+ and sex worker populations. The program teaches participants about transmission, treatment, testing, reporting, disease prevention, and PrEP/PeRP interventions. The goal is to provide individuals with the knowledge to protect themselves and prevent the spread of the virus.
